Notion Twitter Thread Template

Use this Notion database template inside your existing content creation workflow to compose Tweet threads inside Notion.
Unlike with other thread writers, you can brainstorm, draft and edit to your heart's content before finalising your tweets, and keep track of your character count at the the same time.

WHAT IT INCLUDES

• A one-page database template
• A custom database table where you can compose your Tweets, rearrange them in a thread and calculate character totals automatically.
• One outline template (we really need to start using some different words) with prompts to help you structure your thread.
• A timer and useful links.
• Written installation instructions and video tutorials.

WHAT IT DOES NOT INCLUDE

• A content creation database. If you don't already have one you need to create your own.
• Out-of-the-box functionality. It's not a template template, it's a database template (as I said, more words needed). Installation required (takes <5 mins).
• No integration with Twitter, Hypefury, Tweethunter, Typeshare etc. When you've composed your thread you will need to copy it over to your thread writer of choice.

WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO USE IT?

There are plenty of thread writing tools out there, but my writing workflow all happens in Notion, which is why I use this template.

I brain dump all my ideas onto the page using checkboxes, then move each snippet of text into the table, ticking them off as I go. Inside the table, I edit and rearrange until I’m happy with with the thread. Then I copy it over to Twitter.

Works for me. Might work for you.
